If you dont have an inline oiler, put a couple of drops of air tool oil in the air inlet to your underpinner each time you use it, this applys to all air tools. Air tool oil swells the seals and stops them leaking...

I've read the article in TPB - I've read it over and over - I've also noticed how A.N Other company is rearing up - big time and they seem to be affiliated in some way. Re: passe-partout

A Gallery customer of ours has said one of his clients has asked for a picture to be framed "passe-partout". I have understood this to be a type of clipframe with tape around the edges instead of clips, but understand it can also refer to a mounting technique. Think it is french for windo...

I have found this site to be close to actual file download speeds, some of the others are wildly out. I normally use the same location, (London) then I know any slow down is my ISP.

Hi and welcome to the forum. IMHO the best finish for this is to sand to a fine finish, then use a sanding sealer to raise the grain all over. Then sand again and finish the whole thing with a few coats of bees wax. Allow each coat to dry for 24 hours, then buff and apply the next coat. You could use...

Hi Phill, Obeche is very difficult to get a solid finish on due to its very open grain. The only way I know of is to use about 3 or 4 coats of solvent based sanding sealer, and sand after each coat until it is as smooth as a babies bum, prior to applying any paint. John, If properly designed and constructed as a whole package, I can see no reason for any structural problems with this long frame. It might look like crap to me, but then its not going on my wall. As for sharing of information and experts, (how I hate that word). I have seen no unwillingness to sh...
