Hi John,
If you give Lion in Birmingham a ring and let them know when you will be going along they will arrange for you to give the IM-3 a good work out.Hopefully you will be impressed how versatile the machine is.

Re: photo stuck to glass
Perhaps I shouldn't have used the word try.I used to have to change all the photos every season for a rugby club and nine out of ten were stuck and that is what we used.It always worked for us.

Re: photo stuck to glass
If it's a newish photo not stuck to a backing board try flooding under the photo with lighter fluid and it should loosen it enough without doing any damage.

Re: CS88 - am I worrying too much
Judging by the picture it looks as though the spacer bar is upside down.
The nut should always be on the top as it can catch in the gap between the block.

Re: The promise of work to come .....
Hi Adam, I used to find that when these people used to come in and asked for a discount with the promise of £££££s of work they could give me if the price was right I would put the price up by 15% and tell them the price and I would then give them a10% discount. Nine times out of ten it worked. You u...

Try very low pile carpet tiles.Spray the ones in the centre with a small amount of adhesive then when you get to one layer from the edge fire a couple of staples along them.As they get dirty or wear out just pull them up and replace. When they're all down give them a good brush with a stiff brush th...

Re: Removing Glued & Pinned Board From Frame
Rob,
You can try a warm air gun to help the glue become a bit pliable.Try and get the pins out first go up and down one side and gently try and manoeuvre it a bit and them do the same all round. If it works ( it did for me once ) charge him a fortune.

Re: Guillotine v mitre saw
AG, Sorry if it looked like I was promoting our service.I wasn't .As the person stated he was an just starting out.So I take it he wouldn't want to spend 4-5000 pounds on a CS 969 or 999 or 3-4000 on a new Brevetti. I have used the 969 and it is one of the best on the market. What I was trying to sa...

Re: Guillotine v mitre saw
Have a look in
the Lion Cat' at the Inmes Single blade saw with built in Dust extractor and air clamps.
It's quicker than a Morso and less energy used.
But remember no matter what saw you buy never get rid of the Morso.
There are certain mouldings that the Morso will give a far superior cut on.

Re: Framing Photos without a mount for a Photographer
Hi Adam,
You can use econospacer to go either around the edge of the glass or around the frame.
If you are coming to the SWPP come on to the Lion stand and I'll show you some ways round it.
The econospacer comes in a few different sizes and comes in handy for lots of framing jobs.

Re: Morso F Measuring Arm?
The measurements are 2.5.Take the moulding to the required size and just move the moulding to the next line ie. 2.5 and that will be your mount and glass size.

Re: Morso F Measuring Arm?
If you have the engraved arm ( on the bed of the arm) that makes it the equivalent of the De Luxe model so that is all the measurements you need.

Re: Sticking down mountboard spacers
Why don't you use the paper wrapped wooden spacer. You can cut it on the Morso and then underpin it. That way should you have to remove it from the frame it will just lift out.To do a frame the size that you are doing takes minutes. You can attach the mount board and backing board to the rim of the sp...

Re: transparent "mount"
Lynda, You can pit the photos onto 3mm foam board cut slightly smaller than the photos and then you can work Out where you want them to sit on the glass and spay mount the back and stick to the glass.Or place some Velcro onto the back of the photo and a small piece onto the glass. They can then be ch...

Re: LION Chop service anyone ? and use with EstLite ?
Hi Adam , Usually you order with 2mm.added for the glass size. The idea of the chop service is so that you don't have to use your Morso so less risk of messing up. All you have to do is underpin the four sides. Iff you still aren't sure just give Lion a ring and They will guide you through. Tony. Tony
