Make sure when you have them sharpened that you send them to a reputable company who is used to sharpening morso blades and that they are hollow ground. Lion and mainline do a sharpening service.

Re: Help - Identifying a moulding

Thank you everyone who has posted suggestions both here and on skype. I think the closest found is the POL-4643 from Mainline Mouldings. I'll see what they say when they come back.

Re: Help - Identifying a moulding

looks like GAL/8 from Simons, Arqadia used to do one almost identical but from a quick look in the catalogue it looks like they have discontinued it - Mainline also did a version 5006034 but don't know if it is exactly the same

Tawnycraft in Northampton do this moulding and a wider version. Look at the bottom of this page: http://www.tawnycraft.com/silvers.htm

I think you are on their delivery route as well.

Re: Moulding - Mainline 72026

The full cat number is 007 2026

I've run out too, but sourced a very similar moulding from radius in Darlington.

I'll post the cat number tomorrow. But from memory it's 868-11.

Help!

I have just been told that this moulding won't be available until February. Does anyone have a length or even half a length they could spare? I have a customer waiting and need 1.5 meters!

Re: Slight "lip" of top of minerva mouldings

Wessex POL 4003 is not a Minerva moulding.

Minerva is the name given to synthetic mouldings sold by Lion.

The Wessex POL range is Polcore distributed by Mainline Mouldings. Have you tried them for help?
