Do you get much use out of the emboss head? I was contemplating buying one.
I was also thinking of setting up a little ftp folder on my computer for sharing cut files or is this a stupid idea?

Re: Morso Bottom Blades
You may have over tightened the blades, it can slightly warp the blade, also try loosening the bolts and moving the blades back by a mm or so, so they don't quite meet at the end. if this fails use a manual impact driver £15 ish, this will work to loosen your bolts. http://www.esska-tech.co.uk/esska...

Re: Double Apertures
wow I like that little tip Robo, that would have saved me hours of plotting the second mat BCmc. I was proud of this one, cut on my Ultimat gold. I cut the top mat first, used tiny bits of tape to hold fall outs in, then cut my bottom mat 10 mm smaller than the top one and stuck them together. that ...

Re: Mamual Mat Cutter
I think it would cause you cutting problems. When the cutter is flat on the desk, you pull the cutting head towards you in a nice smooth motion, I think this would be hard to achive mounting it vertically Then how would you stop the mat bord from slipping, you can't put pressure on the handle as thi...

Re: Realistic expectations?
Robot is spot on, I have had a problem in the past with badly sharpened blades which have forced the molding away as the blades go through.I have also seen a problem with corners when there has been a crack in the casing of the morso . The procedures Robo has outlined we go through with every blade ...

Re: charnwood underpinner
The M3 isn't suitable for hard woods and the V nail adjuster is a bit more awkward on the M3 over the M4, I found the top clamp a bit slow to use with shaped mouldings (I have the M4) so I replaced it with a magnetic head for the pads, it is now much faster to use and overall a very good machine. I ...
