Do you Know this moulding

Hi, I'm trying to match this frame for a client of mine. The inner frame i can get from lion L1082 or L1083. However I'm finding it hard to match the outer frame, none of the wholesalers here in Ireland seem to have it. Any info would be much appreciated !! http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/abs...

Re: Stretching Canvas

Here is something i worked out one day when i was bored When i'm stetching canvas (bars and wedges) i use Rustproof / Stainless 8mm Stapels rather than the standard Steel ones. Steel £5.70 per 5000 or .001 per staple Stainless/Rustproof £32.90 per 5000 or .007 per staple For a canvas 24 x 20 = appro...

Re: Price check time again?

Well, around here it's approx €1.10

So if it costs £1.00 your way i'm off on pricing

However if your .60p i'm in the right ball park

I know it sounds a bit strange, but it's a bettter benchmark than exchange rates.

Re: Comments on Price Check thread

My top of the range frame price has never been purchased by a client, however the cheveron is on the wall so i priced it.

I suppose a more realistic expensive mouldng off the wall, would come in at €123.00 - that, I have sold.

Re: Price check time again?

€54.20 to €203.20

Finding it hard to compare prices to Sterling Zone. I dont think exchange rate is the best method as it was x 1.5 and now its x 1.2

Just wondering what the prices are for the following in the UK area

mars bar
cappuccino to go
broadsheet newspaper

Hi jonny,

Have you contacted any of the framing wholesalers in Ireland,

A lot of their reps would know who is selling off their second-hand machinery

also try http://www.tabmaster.co.uk/index.php

Re: Large PNG shields

Hi Ross

My advice would be to fix the shields to the wall first. Then build a frame (with no backing) that can be placed over the shields and attached directly to the wall.

Re: Arqadia Claryl Glass

Wow Áine, thats a smashing frame, lovely moulding and great design.

sometimes you can get little splinters of glass when it's scored and broken, a light brush with a dry/clean paintbrush prior to cleaning may help..

How does that glass compare in price to the museum glass?

Re: Am I too expensive?

Just wondering if anyone in the Euro Zone (Republic of Ireland) has priced this job. I'm coming out at 47.50 each + Vat However i would be able to give a 10% discount on this for a quantity. I've priced using J100black,Colourmount 300 series of Daler Con Board - no undermount, 2mm glass with Con Art...
