On the FMD opening screen, along the top icon bar you should see a Yellow box with a Red arrow going into it.
That is assuming the Blue head has been enabled in Machine Settings.
This the the 'Cut Face Down' icon. When this is selected, then the 'Blue Head' becomes available to you.Search found 1362 matches

Very slow down here too.
I thought it was my BB connection. Yet The Grumble loads in < 5secs and other forum type sites the same speed.
JM - Could it be the phpBB Forum Software slowing it down ??

Re: Help with Medals
No problem John.
We have printed those pages out and have used them on so many occasions when a customer appears with a bag full of medals and separate ribbons for framing.
A handy ready reference for the design desk.

Hi John
Another very good reference is:
http://www.medals.org.uk/united-kingdom ... ibbons.htm
http://www.medals.org.uk/united-kingdom ... bbons1.htm
etc..
ribbons*.htm...... * goes up to 9 pages.
They are shown in order of precedence.

I Have a Peugeot Expert, 2.0 HDI.
Superb panel van. Sliding doors on both side, plus double opening doors at the back.
We have the separate seats in the front. Not the usual drivers plus bench seat.
Drives like a car and returns 45 mpg on a long run.
I like my Pug.

Re: Slatwall is useful stuff
Here is my workshop CMC bench. As you see the mountboard storage is made using SlatWall for the top and bottom pieces. The dividers are 10mm MDF, glued into position. workshop1.jpg This makes for a very strong bench for the CMC and each bay provides for about 50 sheets of mountboard. As you can see,...

Re: Car Decals
When we had the shop, we cut our window lettering vinyl on our Valiani CMC.
It did need a sacrificial board (500 micron) on top to hold the vinyl inplace.
So you have to take that cost into account.
As J2M says. Easier to get a local signwriter to do it for you.

Jamie
It depends on what Version software you have.
Normally ToolBox> Fonts>
If you have them you should see something like:
SL_Eng_Vandline
SL_Eng_ParkAveLine
PM me with your serial number please and we can sort some Fonts out for you, if they are not there.

Support for WIN XP will end in April 2014, so you still have 22 months to save your pennies for a new OS.
FMD will run on all versions of Windows OS.

Difficult to do any diagnosis or fault finding without knowing what...
