Thanks to everyone for your input. I of course had gone ahead and stuck the map to the 6mm MDF before I'd read anybody's advice re hanging. If I'd read it first, I might well have gone for 12mm MDF instead. Notwithstanding that, I have to say that it's done a lovely job of sticking the map to the MD...

I've just acquired a Hotpress and one of my first jobs is to put a large map on to a piece of 6mm MDF. The plan is to hang it on the wall (no frame require), but I was wondering if anyone has a view on what fixings I'm best using?

Thanks all. I didn't take the photo, so can't comment on the wider context. Agree it looks a bit dodgy though...

My first post on the forum, but an avid reader of all the useful information to be found on it! Just had a customer in who wants me to match an existing frame - don't have dimensions I'm afraid (although I could get them)' but have a couple of photos and it looks fairly distinctive. Can anyone help?
