I am also a user for over a year now it is very comprehensive how you can tweak the defaults to your requirements.
You can even create your self as a supplier for custom items I do this for Glass.
My only issue and it may be our internet or my PC is it is very slow to respond.

Re: Glass
One of my customers makes glass ornaments that we sell in our gallery on commission. She has all my glass offcuts that she melts down in her kiln.
I did wonder if when I have a bonfire in a old oil drum to burn moulding offcuts if the glass pieces would melt for safe disposable if necessary.

Re: Laminated Poster query
No problem putting glass directly on to poster just give the customer the options and reasons for each method then it’s down to cost and how much they want to pay.

Re: New underpinner?
I have a CS200 (bought new about two plus years ago the one I have is before the upgraded single plate and fence) I operate from what I call the front and have to stand inside big openings and have a large bench the same height that I move around on wheels to support the longer lengths I have tried ...

Re: Keencut Ultimat - Original vs Gold vs Futura
Go for the Futura I had one before I upgraded to a Valiani CMC and it used to work fantastic admittedly it was a bit of a learning curve and tweaking to get it just right. I would almost go so far to say it does a nicer cut than the CMC. I found the gold edge blades from Lion worked best.

Personally I would politely decline this job as something will go wrong! I have taken on things out of my comfort zone and had sleepless nights turning over different scenarios in my head! Practice on something similar until you are confident in the method to use.

Great information Richard and very interesting about the print head costs etc. I was only initially interested in a Epson as someone I know has one and is pleased with it and we have two D700 that are a approximately a year old and so far no trouble (beginning to wish I never said that) Will certain...

Have a look at one of https://www.epson.co.uk/insights/article/epson-launches-its-first-ever-12-colour-photo-printers-and-proofers1 They are new we are in the same situation as you and will probably invest in one of these when things get back to normal. You may be lucky and get a good second hand pr...

This is such tragic news just read his casual message that said he hoped he just had the Flu. My sincerest thoughts go out to his family who although I never personally knew him sounded like a truly nice person.

Epsom scanner V700 to V850 model
I am looking to get a Epson scanner if anyone on here has one they would consider selling I am asking as it would seem a lot of people buy them for a project and then don’t really have much use for them
Many Thanks

We use the following https://www.pictureframesandmounts.co.u ... re-frames/
Can’t believe how many we manage to sell. We currently only stock the cheaper range (Polcore) but may expand our range space and demand permitting

Re: Glass cleaner
I am currently using this, Seems ok so far and I use PEL glass clothes which are exceptionally good.
I use Wessex Opti bright for Tru vue etc.
I used to use the Wessex Blue glass cleaner that worked very well but didn’t like the blue residue it could splatter around sometimes

Re: How long would computer mountcutter blades normally last?
Sorry can’t give the answer to your question but think you have probably answered it yourself.
I think it would be a good idea if the software recorded the distance you actually cut allowing for the materials selected then you could base your decisions on that.
