I try to make the item same point, also under pricing helps no one especially the artist .

I find 95% at least of customers go for what is recommend to them, you have s to know what is going to suit the item being framed, but even more important is to project that to your customers . I have found visualization software a great help with this.

I use a i1 pro to profile our scanner ,screen ,and printer along with shiraz rip software . very little colour adjustment is required quite often our customers think they are looking at their original not our print .

Photo merge on photoshop is a good tool used with a A3 scanner, we copy work up to 24 x 36" this way.

I will try Melinex/mylar straps on my next medal job, I have not seen these before nice tip.

That is kind of scary, how did you stop the pistons from popping out, and loosing all foot braking?

Wire or fishing line aronud the base of each medal going through a pin hole in the backing, will stop them swinging.

And all held together with parcel tape. Awesome.

Is you scanner, monitor and printer custom colour profiled?

I know this is sorted, but silicon spray is your freind.
