Wow I must be an uneducated framer as we do not use the tite bond product, our extensive testing must have been in error.

Re: Framing a mount less poster

He is quite insistent that he wants then framed exactly like previous ones but I will try and see if I can somehow do as you and others have suggested by allowing room for wiggle but its going to be a challenge with only 6mm rebate Has any of his other posters rippled? Explain its not best practice...

He he, all these other guys are of course just pulling your plonker as it were, poly moulding cut really really well on a mitre guilotine, the key is sharpe blades and small cuts to prevent the shatter, we have cut decades old emafyl with ease on tje guilotine, purchased to make spacers for deep ite...

Re: Is anyone going to the Spring Fair at the NEC?

Logistics is the biggest factor, these shows are hard work, we try to come up with a strategic plan, Jill has shown at the NEC for the last few years and thought a show in Scotland might be a good move, a London show is also planned, we do hundreds of pieces per month for Jill and sell through our o...

Re: Is anyone going to the Spring Fair at the NEC?

I went last year after a break of a few years and yes it's not what it was. :( But IMHO it's well worth a visit for trends and tips as others have said. I came away not only inspired but with a sack full of leaflets, info' and card samples that I only finished reading recently. I enjoyed meeting li...

Re: You Tube Video - The Mount Package

So rather that just comment on this I will offer our method up, feel absolutely free to critique or point and laugh, I am a big boy and can take it. Where possible we cut the under mount and mount out of the same card and we join the twi togetger well still in situ on the Mount cutter bed, clamps / ...

Re: morso underpinner

It's an underpinner James, they are hydraulic from what I remember, I guess check it ain't leaking, also take in to account the Moro underpinner isn't anything like as wide spread or well known as the Mitre cutter, this would throw up a red flag for me.
