Painting a bevel shouldn't bring problems mask where the bevel is going on the face with Scotch 811 tape cut your mount paint bevel with the watercolour of choice
let dry pull off tape carefully Bobs your uncle or whatever, best to use a decent mountboard tho

Don't think you need to introduce any more colour black and more black maybe a matching blue bevel, no need for three mounts

The warranty has passed, it did go back to where it was purchased but the leaks reappeared a few weeks later so I did what Cassese should have done and fitted decent parts not exactly rocket science.

My 199 has had two handles snap off, and air leaks in the interior I cured the air leaks by replacing the Chinese fittings with European ones, the handles are also probably made in China. In fact my old Euro was a much better machine

It could also be different widths of moulding, I have just had that this morning 3mm difference not a big problem as its a plain wood and can be sanded down
