Sorry but you Guys sound as tho you need to get a job in IT rather than the Creative Industry. If your Wife finds the Mac stuff (locked down ) it makes me wonder what sort of job she does.I mean I have have chosen my computers to work with straight out of the box and have never needed to faff around...

The RIP does not use the epson driver. And I can see exactly what ink is in the cartridge

The firmware is in the printer I haven't touched the firmware since I bought it no need to whatsoever

Overpriced ? hardly when you consider the amount of time not wasted on patching this downloading that checking for virus etc etc. Sorry no thank you. I used to visit a friend in the 80s and 90s who did vinyl signs and always wondered why he did use such a thing but after seeing that working I though...

I am afraid we are out of luck. I did ask the Framiac guy several years ago about it but nothing ever happened. So its just for PCers
unfortunately as I would never let one of those things in here

I don't think you would be able to class it as a giclee the widest pigment ink printer is 64 inch

I often get prints that people have purchased in the States or Aus,but must are stuck to the fomecor which is not ideal, add glass a mount or two and you are running out of rebate. Besides I do think that a fomecor back just looks unfinished

Liquid laminate for Giclee. But embellishment is usually done by the artist as he/she knows where to put it

Pretty certain that it would be down to the artist who did the original, that is how it is normally done

If it is an inkjet print I don't think you would want a vacuum press, inkjets don't like heat, you need a cold roller
