This is a beige coloured moulding, 31mm across the face and 18mm deep. It has a grain type of effect quite delicate. Does anyone recognise please or possibly suggest somewhere near.

Thank you in anticipation.

The White Decision?

Has anyone given up on white frames, no matter what I do (and even with chop) I cannot get away from black lines at every corner joint.
I've not found a particularly good filler and most times the line is so minute there's nothing to fill.
time to not offer white I think.

Re: Platform Mount or hinge

Thanks, I did in fact use gummed tape on one of them, which was more unruly than the others.
Helped me no end this thread.

Re: Platform Mount or hinge

i just wondered what tape you uses when you tape the fall out back into position. I used p90 however the curve on the artwork card ( it had been rolled up and still retained "spring) tended it to push it of

Re: Platform Mount or hinge

In the end I used a platform mount for these and they worked out great thanks. I've no wheat starch stuff anyway, so that was a none starter for me.
And yes, of course, the package is no thicker. I'd got my platforms and sinks mixed up, but we don't want to go back to Aug 2016 again do we.

Platform Mount or hinge

I've a 700 wide x 500 deep watercolour to frame, x 3 off. They're on very heavy paper, relativity weighty, and I'm wondering what might be considered the best way to mount. 2 t hinges look a bit light and a platform mount, though adding to the thickness is an alternative. It's a double mount. Any th...

Re: a brother to this moulding?

Arqadia have the 30mm wide but nothing wider, Frinton do a wider version but not the narrower one.
It'd be great if the sample on its way from Arqadia was near enough the same, it would work i think.

a brother to this moulding?

]This is Frinton M01979 30mm wide on face and 20mm deep. It'd discontinued I presume as no longer on the website, but there's a wider version M01989 50mm wide which is from the same family I think. I really need both sizes. It's called distressed old gold ( bordering on bronze). Does anyone recognis...

Re: Hot Press + Jigsaw

In the end I've ordered the Hot Press film from Wessex, with a very understanding customer whose ok to wait until 8 May, the due in date to Wessex.
How on earth could I contemplate continued assistance from Steve Goodall and then go elsewhere for my stuff - it must have been a senior moment.

Re: Hot Press + Jigsaw

Thanks very much for the helpful hints,I'd decided to go with the tissue as I have it but sisters post brought me up short - this is a jigsaw - looks normal card and paper front, but made from an image supplied to the jigsaw making company, you didn't mean this sort of thing did you when you mention...

Actually a look in the Hot Press book indicates lots of holes - 10mm c/s b/ways.
I shall give these people a ring later

Does anyone have experience of dry mounting jigsaws in the Hot Press?
What temperature and for how long if not my standard 90 ish and 2 mins 20 secs that I use for posters and the like?

Thanks

Re: WCAF show in Las Vegas

Thanks for sending me the brochure Keith, really helpful on a number of counts. The variety and depth of seminars are simply mind blowing. I worked out a budget of about £300 for the ones I'd have attended, allowing for a few of the free ones. Good value for best in class training. A good range of c...
