Mighty mount plate hanger
Has anyone used this type of hanger from Lion for mounting a plate I have 12x 27cmm plates to mount they are china so a bit worried about the wire and spring method. Any advice would help.

Thank you all for help. Love the slip over frame got it in mind for another project. I was looking for something like a frame that has a hinged front like a book and can be opened to allow access to the medals. Think I saw a post on here some where but trawled through the posts and can't find it.

I have been asked to mount a friends medals in a case that he can hang on the wall and also can be opened to alow him to use the medals then replace them in the case on display. I think there is a post on here somewhere I am looking for a plan to make the said case if anyone can help.

I have noticed that most framers seem to use acrylic paint to touch up or colour their frames. What sort of paint is it i.e. like the tubes you can get from Amazon or is there a special type for wood.

Hi all
Part of a commission I have been asked to do is sticking an engraved plaque on to the mount board. The plaque comes with a bit of what looks like double sided tape on the back would this be enough to hold it there or should I use some other way to hold it on to the board if so what ?

Ty guys I was thinking of the strip fitting but the only ones that Wessex do require staining however if I can get a thinner or bevelled one that would do the trick
