Re: FATG Website

And on page 21 of Art Business Today - there is a report saying that Peterboro Cardboards had stand at the WCAF ( West Coast Art Frame show) in Las Vegas in Jan. Well they didn't have a stand :o So it begs the question " Can we believe what we read in ABT ? " I'm quite sure that when the F...

Re: Framing a Trans

Hi Steven, Nice to see you posting :) Now that these wizz kids here understand "Trans" in Singlish ( Singapore English ! ) = "Trannie" in English - I hope you get the advice you seek. There are a lot of very experienced framers on here - even a few from USA and OZ - so wait a bit...

MK Omagh, That was along sentence 165 words to be precise - please use a few full stops - make it easier for us to read  The reason price are up is simple. The GBP has fallen 50% against the USD in the last year, and 25% against the Euro. So as most of the machinery and mouldings are bought eit...

Completly useless information - but interesting!

I love stats. and have made the following useless calculation......... :head: The Grumble has 1016 registered users - and adds 1 new user per week The Framers Forum has 972 registered users - and adds about 10 new users per week. So by mid May this Forum should overtake the mighty Grumble  But...

Re: Picture Framing Trade Show -Dublin???

It has always been a mystery to me why so many people still refer to it as Slater Harrison mountboard. :?: I was the person who many years ago made a list of possible names for what was then our new board. After days of agonising over the name........ " COLOURMOUNT " was eventually chosen...

Re: Experienced Picture Framer

If you go to the Members icon ( top right) - then click on Location - then go to Page 13 - you will see how few Dublin framers are on the Forum. So for this reason - if not already done so, I suggest giving your CV to a couple of the Dublin based distributors. They will know all the framers, and pos...

Or try Row Rowlands . http://www.hedgehog-art.co.uk/ He is probably the one that Lion will suggest. I have watched Roy training framers and newbie framers in UK and overseas. He is a good teacher, and is also GCF 001 . I will let him explain what that means :) I have to get back to my stand at SMAC ...

Peter,

A good friend of mine is the INMES distributor in Ljubljana and reports happy framers in Slovenija.
