Leave it to the professionals. I'm not a mouldings supplier. direct them to their nearest wholesaler.

Re: Wonga dot com

don't have a problem with Wonga.com ads. don't have a problem with payday loan companies at all, they have very clear terms and conditions. Better than borrowing the money from some crack-addled chav with a pit bull that lives in its own faeces in a twelfth floor kitchen, and who thinks he's the loc...

Re: Wizard 8000 stops mid cut

Kev how can you check on the wizard, How many cuts/or mounts its done? Hi kwik. in the front end screen, go to the "View License" tab. you'll see a counter number for the total corners cut and a counter for total mats cut (since installation of the software on that PC). Its a counter of h...

thats nothing compared to what some people do. that was spread over 5 or 6 years mind. the guy before me put around 500,000 on it, he was big in the film cell business before he retired, and we used to pretty much have ebay all to ourselves between two or three of us at the time, before the days of ...

had that on an 8500E. intermittent faults can be a bugger. We never got to the bottom of it on our old one, despite new ECU packs, new heads, new cables. in the end wizard replaced it with a new one, so I guess they will know what it probably is if you ask Sam or Ian. to help them more easily diagno...

Re: New Business - Grants?

No useful advice from me other than if the bank is the only place you can get the money don't let it stand in your way, just do your figures and be realistic, don't try and get anything from the bank you can't afford to pay back with ease, also have a plan B, and then go for it. You are only here on...

Re: Whimsical frames

patterns are more north American than British/European taste imho. would prefer these unpainted/unfinished. would expect to sell them well for about two months until Amazon and Ebay were full of them, then online sales would die because everyone wants everything for nothing and they'll buy from the ...

Re: Script blocking software

I think you've got your main improvement already mark. Adblock might slow page loads by up to a second. but save the time on some with not playing video ads etc. you can disable it/enable it in your browser addons. swings and roundabouts. If ads bother you on the sites you use, then its worth it. If...

Re: Script blocking software

another thing that slows page loading often is toolbar "helpers" and antivirus toolbars, "safe site" checkers built into some Anti Virus, which are also scripts that you might be running. blocking these scripts is simply disabling them in your browser settings, or keeping an eye ...

https://adblockplus.org blocks adverts. adverts are the unwanted crap that clog up pages loading. Blocks almost all banners, all pop-ups and most video ads - even on myface, youtube etc. most of the other legitimate scripts, java runtime, adobe flash etc are actually necessary and give you a better ...

You can do a lot with statistics. If there are 66 million people in the UK and only 5% of them ever visit a frameshop (Jim Anderson) .... who has vanished completely from the framing scene after a brief period as a self proclaimed guru mostly interested in plugging social media.... so where he pluck...

Re: Moulding question

Lion claim the minerva mouldings are specially made for them, implying exclusivity, it looks like you need to look elsewhere or enquire at Lion. If it doesn't have to be plastic: Look at wessex eg. MO 3637 which is a brushed silver (wood) 20mm deep maybe, and browse around from there, or wessex-frin...

Re: Flexi tab gun

framers corner do a good pneumatic flexigun at about £40. see the other thread about them. next best thing is an omer or casesse at over £300. Manual flexiguns aren't really up to the job if you are doing anything more than the occasional one, or you want a hobby replacing springs.

Just realised I should have added To set your mind at rest have a look in your own Paypal account at the IPN history (where you can see all the IPN messages) and see if there are any IPN PDT errors showing in there. Thats the place you'll spot any problems with http 1.1 related stuff. Just keep your...

Old news.it was announced in october 2011.... I think it changed in February/March this year. Whatever cart or scripts you are currently using must still be compatible or they wouldn't be working now. What deal are they offering on the Y2K bug fix? ;) Keep your eye on it, just in case or ask them to...

You won't get much better till you spend up to £300 on an Omer or casesse gun. Like the omer the framers corner gun will wor...
