Any recommendations for a bespoke wall mounted acrylic box company, for a canvas?

Re: Adhesive Roll
There's PMSU41164 for more difficult substrates, so that might work better. Personally I vacuum press with HMFC25082.

Re: Adhesive Roll
I've used the Hotpress PMDS25082 from Wessex for cold laminating in the past. No problems with it.

IF you are serious about reopening Mark, the first thing I would do is update your Google listing to show your current premises, its correct location on the map, some of your work, opening hours etc etc. I have most of my new customers coming to me through a Google search. If you do a search, you'll...

Re: Removable certificate
Sounds like they could just get a high quality giclee copy of the certificate and keep the original one safely framed.

Re: "white" mountboard recommendations
MInuet is the one I use most. The printmakers I know use a variety of papers. Minuet, Cloud White or Rainshimmer work for each of them. I agree with Rainbow and would add that a contrasting mount (eg a cream against a white paper) can work and serve to highlight the piece. I find that matching mount...

Re: Best solution for 1cm space between art and backboard
Imo if you're going to use blocks that's fine but forget about "randomly", nothing in framing is random! Just think out what will work. Two top and bottom one in the middle etc. Is £1 extra per piece really going to break the bank? Serious question. Time-wise (which counts for a larg...

Re: Best solution for 1cm space between art and backboard
What Jim said. Conservation-wise, always hinges the work to a board and then glue the board to the undermount. This way if it's ever reframed, it's easy to reverse it (or if you make a mistake...).

The Hotpress "Dry Mount Film - Clear" supplied by Wessex is designed for canvas mounting, but it doesn't mention a temperature point for curing... Steve will know.

Re: Banknotes in double sided frame
I don't see how you can do it without a 100 windowed mount. Mylar encapsulating 100 notes individually sounds fun...
Aluminium double sided frame sounds like a headache too.
I think you'll need some good old fashioned magic!
Tell them to save their money!! Get it?

4K sounds about right. My Gunnar has the "old" style magic box. I was warned that if it goes, then a new updated one would cost 4K. The recon one sounds like a fair deal. Reconditioned usually means that it's had more checks than when it leaves the factory brand new imo... You could buy th...

I know it's not the answer you were asking for but why not just hinge to board, use a spacer and glaze with thicker UV99 glass?

100% upfront with the odd exception for a regular customer who likes to leave the design up to me.
