Re: Packaging customers work

I get my kids to make corner protectors from offcuts of backing board then pop it into a print bag. Customers can see finished work but the work doesn't need unwrapping and wrapping again.

Uv92 or Museum glass

Lady came in today and was absolutely certain she needed UV protection and high clarity. I recommended TruVue Museum glass. Later I was reading in the Wessex catalogue and noticed TruVue UV92. Anyone used UV92? Any views on how to choose between them?

Delivering Frames to Netherlands

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a courier / delivery firm for transporting 3 frames 105cm x 75cm to Rotterdam, Netherlands? Cheers.

Re: Cutting Narrow Slivers/Strips of Glass

Use glazing pliers with glass excess over edge of a table with metre ruler just other side of scored line. Be bold.

Re: Split Baton Hanging System

I`ve used Z bars. Customers seem to like them for heavier items.

Terrific. Thanks for sharing these. Do you treat glued&pinned frames? If you treat lengths of moulding, does the mica sand have any effect on the Morso blades?

My teflon coated scissors are covered in gunk. Gunk loves teflon.

Gunk on scissors.

Anybody got any tips on removing tape adhesive from scissors? Tried scraping with metallic edge, tried nail polish remover, tried swearing.
