Discount for 10 of the same.

A customer wants ten of the same print framed exactly the same way for an awards evening. With the framing specifications, my pricing program comes up with about £50 for one framed print. How much discount would you offer for ten?

Mirror tarnishing at edges.

I keep some 2mm mirror glass and sometimes make up small mirrors from offcuts. It seems the mirror edges are prone to browning / tarnishing. Any suggestions on how to stop/slow this process? Ta.

Polite reminders till month 5. Then I say that legally I am allowed to sell their framed art to recoup my losses. Worked so far.

Re: Price for framing a rugby shirt in a box frame & best me

To fix shirt&inset to mountboard, I first decide on 5 to 7 attachment points/areas. Then for each area I drill two tiny holes. The distance between the holes is the diameter of the curve in the upholstery needles.

Re: Sorry, Another Medals Query

It might be quickest to add a ribbon to each.
Cut a slot in the mountboard, feed through each ribbon and
hold each in place with piece of card. Slot n slide method.
Quick and reversible.

Selling lengths of moulding

Just wondering does anyone here sell lengths of moulding to local "Garage Framers"? Nothing against GFs just haven`t clarified my thinking on should I help them take trade away. I feel that the fella I`m thinking of offers low cost items to bargain hunters. I do not want to chase that end ...

My wife has a "food intolerance" to some foods. I am allergic to long-haired cats. No yet had a pathological hatred for anything. So I`ll steer clear of these two groups.

Re: Does music increase sales?

If you turn off the music as a customer enters, do you still need a PRS license? (and whatever the other one is)

Does music increase sales?

Lovely lady just in. Runs a shop selling cushions, pictures, mirrors, etc. Brought in a framed print which had fell off wall and needed new glass. During a long chat, she said, Playing Radio 2 increases sales". Before I could stop laughing and ask her to elaborate another customer came in and t...

Re: Plastic fgures.

I`ll post a photo soon. I`m leaning towards screw/pin from underneath each shelf into little Snoopy feet. (Sounds barbaric!) However as Roboframer states, I`m concerned the fixings will be too visible. In discussion, customer was not the least bit concerned with irreversiblity or conservation for fu...
