Mainline Mouldings Polcore range is really worth a look. They sent me a few samples when I asked. Min. moulding order is 30 pounds.

Re: Artcore Mouldings

I think you may well be stuck unless you can find a wholesaler with it in stock. Have you looked to see if Lion or Mainline do an alternative? It is easy for me to say once the horse has bolted so to speak, but keeping a good but modest selection of mouldings is your best option ...

Re: Identifying A Moulding

Hi,

Sorry the catalogues I've searched are Lion, Simons and Mainline, If it can't be matched can anyone suggest a close match, even if I suggest re-framing the original to match the new or will that de-value the original because I now its worth around £300.

Thanks
Adrian

... a matching mount slip which can make the job look far better. The Lion version in synthetic is only available in one width but if you look at the Mainline Mouldings Polcore range there is a narrower version and a mount slip.

Best way to Float Frame an oil on 9mm MDF

... I use Lion there's a £50 minimum order on mouldings and I tend to only use them for sundries. I could use their spacers with an Arqadia, Simons or Mainline moulding (my other usual suppliers) but then I'd worry about matching the wood/rebate sizes etc. Nothing by Arqadia sticks out as doing the ...

... matching mount fillips; this one at 3mm thick, is the thinnest available - the thickness of a double mount. Available from Arqadia, Nielsen and Mainline. You were up early this morning Keith! How was the Microlight flight?

Re: Saving time vs minimising material costs.

Some slips take 4 ply to make flush, (well, one - that tiny 3mm one that Arqadia, Nielsen and Mainline sell) some take 8 ply, some take 3mm foam board and some take 5 mm foam board - I also stock 10mm foam board, but that's rarely used for making things flush; never slips. ...

Re: HELP! I'm Looking for this moulding

Just doing a Wessex and Simons order and have seen this moulding.

Wessex have it in plastic (POL2021- same as Mainline?) in a supplement catalogue, and Simons do it it wood (SARD/0006) on page N-3
Anyway, they both look pretty close to the one your looking for.

Re: HELP! I'm Looking for this moulding

I think Mainline do a similar one in Polcore,
I was looking for the larger version a while ago, which I got direct from Lopez in the end.

Thanks Guys. :D It appears to be Mainline Polcore POL-0101. One of the two. Don't suppose anyone has any in stock that they could chop for me. Only have to do two small frames...... :?

... range. I like the darker silvers in this range. Simons have added to their range of Emafil mouldings and I'm gonna try a few of those too! Mainline have some nice additions to their Polcore range which I liked too! For me it was well worth the 500 mile round trip.
