Re: Plexiglas - Perspex - Acrylic Glass - bulk quantities

if you looking for bulk you could try http://www.perspex.co.uk/ or http://www.amariplastics.com/

Acrylic is an alternative to glass but expect to pay 5 times the price upwards.

Re: Once Again overstocked on PH7-70 - silly prices

How much were they being sold for?
I can probably do the 25mm roll at around £6 plus vat and delivery - would need to check first.

Re: I just "pulled the trigger" on a nice new Gunnar F1 Hybr

You need a serial port.
Mine works perfectly well on a half decent windows 7 pc and a USB>Serial convertor from Maplins @ £19.99 so you can get a new PC without a built in Serial port.

Re: CASSESE CS939 on EBAY

£1500.00 plus VAT seems to be a bargain.
Will let you know what the machines like when we collect it this Friday.
Already got a few T350's and a CS999 so this was brought as a back up, but it may replace one of the T350's depending on it's cut quality.

Re: Why so difficult to find frames fitted with glass?

What plastic glass is your current supplier using??

Cheap styrene glazing is visually inferior to glass, but acrylic has very similar visual properties.

Re: Double Mitre Saws - Best possible blades

Just to update this post, we finally got some LU1I 900 blades which had to be imported from Italy as Freund had never sold a set in this country. They cost over £350.00 but the cut is far superior and much quieter to our other blades, including the Cassesse blades that came with the machine. Apparen...

Double Mitre Saws - Best possible blades

HI We are due to buy new saw blades for our Cassese 999 double mitre saw. Does anyone have ideas which brand and type would offer the best cut for wood picture frames. Our current blades are Freud LU3D 0900 which were supplied by a local company and they do the job fine, but I would like to know if ...

Re: Search Engine Optimisation

The term picture frames is searched for around 675,000 times per month on Google, whereas the term picture framing is only searched for 90,000 times per month. If you are receiving more hits on the term picture framing, it basically means your website is better optimised for that term and appears hi...

Gunnar F1 Hybrid - Hints & Tips

HI I have been using a Gunnar F1 Hybrid for a while and have a couple of things I can't work out. 1: If I am cutting a double mount in the same colour, can I cut both layers out of the same sheet at the same time? or do I have to cut one layer at a time. 2: How do you nest multi layered mounts. I ca...

Re: WANTED Keencut Ultimat Gold 1200

How much do you want to spend??

I have one that has sat in our workshop for over a year. It was used in one of our shops for a few years. Works fine, but will need calibrating or servicing.

Keencut Ultimate Gold 1200.
Also got a bigger version 1550?? Again this will need servicing/calibrating.

Re: "Just In Time" Delivery of moulding, ... not quite : (

We buy the majority of our mouldings from Arqadia. You can check stock on the Arqadia website for the moulding. I run a simple program on my website that opens up Arqadia's product pages for the 500 different mouldings we use. I can then quickly check stock of every moulding we offer and note any ou...

Jared
Are the rental figures on that website, http://www.getthepictureframing.com/gfaq/cmc.htm, correct.

$100 per week for the F1 Hybrid(£66.00 per week) - seems very cheap.

Re: Quick Mate Canvas Stretcher

We brought one many years ago. Used it 3 times and since then it has gradually gathered dust and never seen the light of day again. It certainly does what it is supposed to do and makes stretching an oil a simple task for anyone. However if you have stretched by hand a few times you will soon get th...
