Re: Fully loaded morso for sale
Still got the underpinner to go, will probably put some more bits up for sale later. I will most likely use the shop as a private studio... if I can get peace & quiet to work!
Latest painting is going slowly, but it''l be good when done.

Electric Guitar: Fender Stratocaster
Not a framing item I know, but the funds raised from this are going towards a motorbike, which may be used for mobile framing consultations (if I survive that long! If I don't, I will need it for any job I get as I'm in a very remote location). Times are that difficult for me at the moment! I'll be ...

Re: It's the way I tell them
A ventriloquist was driving through Wales when his car broke down. He walked a bit and found a farmer who would let him use his phone. The farmer moaned a bit but agreed. Well, the farmer seemed to be a real seriously dull rural type, so the ventriloquist, a bit of a practical joker, thought he woul...

You get as far as Christmas? That's just a week short of a full year!Bill Henry wrote:I’ve stopped making resolutions since I rarely can get past Christmas before they’re all a distant memory.
Same one every year for me.. try to be happier. By Feb something always kicks me in the soft parts and ruins it.

Re: Quote query
Actually it wouldn't.. how do you think they make back their £10k+ investment?
CMC makes life easier for the framer, bulk orders/unusual mounts are easier to do - but the initial outlay has to be recouped within a few years to make it worthwhile.

Re: morso set up.
You have to be careful about moving it too far forward, you don't want the blades touching the fences. Another thing occurs to me, is the bottom corner of the moulding rounded? That could cause chips as it isn't fully supported by the bed, as a sharp corner would be. On that type of moulding, I've u...

Re: morso set up.
Its the setup. The blade block has an adjustment cam underneath the bed which brings the blades forward/backward a few mm.
