Hi Ed209 you ask "Any recommendations for best place to send for sharpening please?" :?:

Bevel mirrors, rustic pine huge frames, 100s metres polcore

... 4mm, ex-glass and mirror stock. Huge rustic pine frames (10x) 8" wide moulding! Great sellers with a mirror in them. a few hundred metres of Mainline Polcore mouldings bundled/boxed. (I no longer use polcore, these were for an ex-contract customer and we rarely sell them in the shop so these ...

Re: fame ID

I think that might be a Polcore moulding. I'm not completely sure, but maybe our member Babaza from Mainline will be able to advise.

Re: Polecore 2 part glue..

I don't know what the 2 part glue you're using. I only use the stuff from mainline, cut the moulding & then use a bit of the glue (too much I've found can be counterproductive), hold the mitred ends firmly until it's solid, I then pin them once the glued ...

I haven't used that, but mainline have an excellent glue for use with polcore.

Re: Appalling price of strutbacks up by at least 50%

... say your moving, but express disappointment....is it just the strutbacks?" Oh yes, I have done. Trouble is, and I have found this with Mainline before, there is no sales rep you can talk to, unlike at Arqadia, Simons and even Centrado, who can offer you a special price to clinch a deal, ...

Appalling price of strutbacks up by at least 50%

Just had the shock of my life as I looked at strutback prices. Been getting box price of 37p for a 12 x 10 ext leg from Mainline and it has now shot up to 55p. If you think that's bad, to buy one only has gone from 72p to £1.40. This sort of increase is across the range. I'd love to ...

Re: Morso blades

Wherever you buy from, keep the box as they meet the safety criteria for blades in transit to and from a sharpening service (like Mainline offer). My apologies if this is obvious. No not obvious to me thank you for the help & advice I'm new toatley and just kitting out a small work ...

... to solve the issue. I have tried not putting the wedge close to the edges. Every now and again I will stick a length in when I am ordering from Mainline to give it another try and then get frustrated with a gap in the joints and then give up again.
