Keencut Excalibur 5000

Having just spent £1500 on one of the above machines I was thinking is it worth offering a glass cutting service from my workshop ?
It would help earn its keep . Also get a few more people through the door
Does anybody offer this service ?

Have just been offered a deal by a card company.
£18.95 per month rental for machine
1.9% credit card
29p debit card

no other charges at all. What does the panel think ?

I have had a number of different figures quoted ref. the financial split for selleing artists work.

Whilst i want to be fair i dont want to to appear money grabbing.

What do you think is a fair split ?

Have just opened a business account with Lloyds , they are offering 18 months free banking looks OK . I have a branch in the next village re. paying in etc. Plenty of back up as well . Being a newbee and after looking at the finances I have decided to put off purchasing a Hot Press for the time being. Having said that is it a done thing to farm that side of the business out to another framer. I am based about fourteen miles west of Hereford , if this is the case I would be glad to...

leasing equipment

Is leasing equipment a viable proposition. I am starting up a new business very soon and i could do with upgrading a few extra pieces of kit I.E. a new underpinner perhaps a hot press and possibly an upright glass and board cutter.
I see that Wessex offer some packages is it worth doing?

Things are looking even better , The couple who own the property are going to let me rent the unit at even less money for the first six months to allow me to find my feet . The only issue i have is that there is no heating in the premises and i am concerned re damage to stock etc.( Ref Spits comment...

By the way we are moving about twenty minutes north west of Hereford
any of you guys and gals in the vicinity.
