Unfortunately Steve it has a scalloped edge so an amount of the fabric will not be covering the mount board . Hey Ho such is life.

Thanks for all your reply's . I am actually laying a piece of fabric with a lace sections, so the colour is going to show through. then with a spacer to keep away from the glass. Hopefully the painted option will work as it does not have to be a perfect finish. Fingers crossed.

Just out of interest when was the last time you emptied your compressor? we are using a Bambi that was made in 1986 and although we have replaced the pressure regulator blow off switch twice (this is something you may want to look at) it still runs perfect! all the best

Can anybody advise where i can locate some sort of fixing kit to hold a heavy rifle to a backing board. Ideally a system that will be able to release the rifle from time to time for cleaning .
