Hi all
This is now sold. Sorry for those that asked for details and received no response. For some reason I did not receive notifications that the questions had been asked. Sure it was operator error.

Hi all Good Sunny Saturday to you all... Have a Pneumatic Matpro 120 Mountcutter likely to come up for sale in early October. This really made a massive difference to my productivity and wastage levels when I first began using 2 years ago. Great bit of kit. I have now decided on stepping up and buyi...

Re: large poster - mount only
Thanks Propsero
Think I will use 2.5 mdf. I use a vacuum heatpress - will then try and get the customer to pay for a frame!

Hi
Have a customer who wants a poster 120 x 100 mounted on board. No frame. Would you use MDF or Foam board? Many thanks for your advice

finally had a sort out
At last plucked up the courage to have a throw out and re- work of my shop / workshop. Have to say - very pleased I did. feel much more relaxed and in control when not tripping over left over moulding and frames kept for a rainy day.

Re: (Very) Large Mixed Media Collage on Paper
The sound you hear in the distance are my footsteps as I run away! I am trying to learn to say no - however, I am currently trying to frame a "scroll" on canvas - 2M x 1.3m. Don't know why I said yes!!!!!

I do make up some ready mades but as others have said - the turnover of them does not reflect the hassle and time. I just hate throwing away good wood! I have a lo...

I am sure this is a perennial topic but what do you do with left overs? I have made remainder frames which sell but not at the rate I accumulate waste and I also dont have the time to spend making them when paying jobs are lined upo. Thing is - I cant bear to throw away good moulding. there probably...

Re: boxing title belt
Hi
Sorry - promised to post a pic when done: see attached.
I built a small shelf out of gold moulding. By luck there was also a threaded hole in the top of the centre piece of the belt that allowed me to put a bolt through the boards at the back and secure.

Re: Looking to start up
Hi I set up from scratch 3 years ago but in a shop. I bought mostly second hand but did also buy a pneumatic underpinner and later, a second Hand MATPRO 120 pneumatic mount cutter which was the best investment I ever made. I agree - £2000 - £3000 secondhand kid should be a good start. I also did a 1...

New Blade - still not cutting cleanly yet all other boards cutting perfectly. Anyone else had a...
