Re: Gilders question

Dermot,
was it called Ormolu?

I have tried with Gamboge and the effect wasn't great
I tried with a good quality oil paint and got some good results

Re: Framing with low-end equipment

Hi Anthony, you can get an ok standard from these types of machines with practice but you may want to weigh up how much extra trouble and time you may spend on doing this yourself when you could possibly spend that time on your actual craft of photography against maybe speaking with your local frame...

Re: Electric Paint Sprayer - which is the best?

take a look at Axminster power tools
they do a HVLP system

Re: Moulding ID please

Hi joh5nny
it looks like it might be one of ours
does it have a Kingswood label on the back?
If so, let me know how much you need and I can run a couple of lengths

Re: RSG (gluesize)

Hi B

we found the same
stinks doesn't it
and when you cook it up after soaking it smells like it's gone off already
also looks very thin when mixed with water

am looking at other suppliers at the moment
got some from Wrights of Lymm in cheshire
that was pretty good
