Thank you for your replies. I thought this would be the answer but didn't want to find out later if it was wrong.

Rigid tabs
From what I can see there are 2 shapes to rigid tabs - the arrow shape (as for Fletcher Terry) and the basic straight sided (as for Charnwood T4R). Is one better than the other? Obviously the Fletcher-Terry drivers are more expensive.

New Morso blades
Just a quick question - Do new Morso blades need to be oiled or greased?
Thanks in anticipation.

Adobe Photoshop CC feature
Users of Photoshop CC may be interested in a feature described in Scott Kelby's blog (http://scottkelby.com/) on 18th April 2016 - adding a picture frame. It's extremely limited but others may further develop.

Does anyone have the Keencut Angle Cutting Set and Reversed bevel stop for the Ultimat Futura mountcutter that they no longer need or use? If available please let me know how much they would cost.

Re: Package tape
Thank you for the responses. When I started to learn picture framing some years back I was taught to seal the package/sandwich to keep dust and things out and to make it easier to handle. At that time we were told to use masking tape. As my experience continues to grow I try to achieve the best prof...

Package tape
I'm seeking advice on tapes for sealing the glass, windowmount, artwork and undermount package or sandwich for Conservation level framing to the GCF standards and guidelines. What tapes conform to the standards? If the tape adhesive would not be close (greater than 40mm) to the artwork would self ad...

Re: Notebook That wont shut down
It's always worth trying to clean up your system. Even when installing or upgrading to Windows 10 there are a lot of loose ends, junk and out of date drivers. You may wish to try checking your drivers are up to date (try Driver Booster) and then run some clean up utilities like Advanced SystemCare. ...

Please excuse my ignorance but what does a strainer look like?
Re: KREGS
I've only used them for furniture and box making. The wood has to be a reasonable thickness and therefore it wouldn't be suitable for most framing jobs unless they were large and heavy (in my opinion). One thing I found was that you probably need a multi-tool to cut off the top of the Kreg plugs aft...

As you live in Redhill the best place to learn is right on your doorstep - try East Surrey College. John Hill is an excellent tutor.

Conservation/Museum Framing and Mounting Course
I attended the Conservation/Museum Framing and Mounting course, run by Framers Equipment of Northampton, yesterday. I thought it was excellent and I would highly recommend it. The tutor was Jan Stanlick and he demonstrated his expert practical knowledge and experience.

Re: Advice on 'going pro'
As you are in Surrey you might want to consider the training at East Surrey College [Redhill]. A few hours a week. Having done it for several years I would highly recommend it and in particular the tutor, John Hill.

Lion Lamination course
Last Wednesday I managed to get to the Lamination course held by Lion at their Hayes office. There were 5 students (as 1 didn't turn up) plus the 'teacher'. The course is primarily a practical one and therefore everyone actually get to do the exercises and make mistakes. The teacher answered all of ...

Are there any companies that specialise in selling discontinued mountboards? I'm asking this (a) for future use/knowledge and (b) I'm currently looking for 1 or 2 sheets of Arqadia Whitecore Light Fawn 8059.
