I've had this on the shelf but never used that much. Only used 1 strip of points so the packet is almost full.
New from Lion £128
Would like £80 delivered.
Have a Flexipoint gun for sale too so if you take both then I'll knock £10 of the combined price.

Re: Cutting through Blackcore mount board
I find the same problem with solid black... I've got a keencut Futura. It seems the solid black is a tad thicker and a lot denser and will cut one mount on a new blade but the second one won't go all the way through and it's always the 4th cut :head: I now use a new blade for every mount... blades a...

Re: Frame with glass as "mount" border
Have made similar myself, although just the one piece of glass but I use acrylic making it less breakable. Inner frame has a laminated print so no need for glass and the whole inner frame stuck onto the acrylic.... less material. The ones i've made were massive and tried the 2 sheet method as above ...

Re: PHOTO PRINTER
canons are usually fairly good with no clogging. trick is to never switch them off. my iPF8400 goes to sleep and wakes itself up everyday and agitates the inks and does a nozzle check.
Not sure on the new epsons but the older ones were renowned for clogging.

Re: PHOTO PRINTER
There are a plethora of desktop printers out there that will print up to A4. Canon or Epson are the usual suspects for photo printers. You are limiting yourself if you only want to go to A4, personally I would look for at least an A3 or even something capable of roll feeding 17". Buying the pri...

cutting an oval....
Is it possible to cut a piece of glass to fit in an oval ready made if you haven't got an oval cutter?
What about lots of straight lines? or even making a template to trace around with a hand held cutter.
Or am I on a hiding to nothing??
TIA
Chris

I have some photos I need to mount so both sides can be visible. Frame will have glass on both sides so the back of the photo can be seen if turned over so will have another mount around the back. I remember seeing something before which Robo done but cannot remember the technical term to do do a fo...

I use foam on a roll (the stuff a tv comes wrapped in when new) and then handy wrap.... but only after the customer has seen the finished frame and is happy with it so they can't say it was damaged my end.

The blade is a fraction below the central setting on the holder. With the mount you want to cut on the bed, press the blade down just in front of the mount.... the blade should only just be entering the slip mat by about .5mm. My blades are only just touching the 3 dots mark. I think you may have t...

Re: Moving the Morso rebate supports
Seems a bit fiddley... although I have to do that when they are at their uppermost, i guess it's to do with angles... if you are pushing from high up then it would tend to try to tip the support rather than if it was lower push it away. I use a bit of old moulding and stick it on with ATG as a rebat...
