Gah! Just posted this link in the GCF logo thread. Couldn't workout where I saw aprons mentioned! Just £14 quid. Can't vouch for the company, use at own risk!

Any more anti-feline comments, Woody, and I'm confiscating your ale supplies until further notice! :P That is a severe punishment for such a minor offense. No cat is worth my beer! Well, unless it can get the beer from the fridge, open it and pour! Only then would I reconsider. How energy efficient...

Can you look through the hole while throwing the switches?

I've either got painting the bulbs or wiring cats up to them and just listening to which cat is getting a tingle.

As for the fridge question, is my beer in it?

If you and Spit keep torturing me like this, I'm gonna start referring to ye as the Torquemada Brothers!  I've finished my last Spitfire and now its time for bed. Yuck! I hate the stuff, my wife and daughter can't get enough of it. I can tell when they have opened the jar from the other side of the house. For the next couple of hours I walk around the place with a nato issue gas mask on. I'd rather wear that than smell Marmite.

I find ADSL to be hit or miss. Personally I have cable and soon NTL (sorry, Virgin Media) are bringing 50meg to Coventry... hmmmm. 8)

As John suggested, its best to copy the photo's off the camera directly into a folder and then loading them into the application of choice. By experience I've found the bundled software to be poorly developed and a pointless resource hog. With your camera connected to the computer you can open my co...

OK, the hard drive is fine and so are the swap settings. What application do you use atm for viewing your pictures? If Irfanview is a low resource application get it and have a go at that. I wouldn't recommend deleting tasks if you are not sure what they are. I would approach it by looking at the ta...

John Couple of things to check. How much disk space do you have left on your drive? You may have run out of space and this could cause problems with the swap file. To check open my computer and right click drive c. Choose properties and let me know how much free space you have. Deleting files or doi...

Why is Pavarotti crying?

My brother-in-law is an artist and he likes abstracts. He tried to explain what his ideas where for what I'm looking at but I can't see it.

But, as an ex-IT guy (lucky git!) you should know that the problem isn't with the software. I'm afraid this is going to be classed as a PEBCAK or a PICNIC. As I tell all of my users, the computer is always right.
