Re: Chain on JM26

Turn the laminator over - on the underside you will see screws under the motor housing - these hold the motor.

Loosen them slightly & then slide the motor back to tighten the chain.

Re: press mounting oil on canvas.....

Watch the Hot Press - Vacuum Press DVD - last chapter on the DVD... If you don't have one - phone me - I'll send you one for free. Do not mess with cold pressure boards in hot machines - you are looking for trouble - in most cases - you only put cold boards in hot presses when you have done somethin...

I believe this is what is commonly called "progress"... :giggle: You go from a system that works well & you "improve it". You "improve it" by making it virtually impossible to display the product in a satisfactory manner!!! :xcomputer: Well Done OS  :cl...

Re: What is this called?

As you don't seem to be getting anywhere - this might help... This is "U" channel plastic edging (your photo looks like it has a metal core under the black - which is good) - in the UK it was branded as "Claylastic" edge trim & was commonly used for edging 3mm / 5mm / 10mm fo...

Re: Hotpress Drymounter HGP360

HELLO... (shouting) They are DEFINATELY NOT 3 phase - just heavy on the amps - 18A - requiring a dedicated 20A box back to the mains. A similar example would be your cooker in your kitchen - which has that funny on/off switch on the wall for it... Please tell me you have a box for your cooker

Re: WANTED Drytac Jetmounter or similar

Actually £4K is not too bad for a Kala - it is a big machine... Prices on 25" machines start around £300 & go up from there - the sky is the limit really. The biggest laminator I have ever sold was around £28K - once all the "bells & whistles" had been fitted. It is a question...

It's really hard to believe you haven't found anything yet - that Kala I saw listed by Technoprint??? Is a serious bit of kit - depending on the price it would be a massive addition to any business - plus I know a Kala guru who could make it sing & dance for you... If you are struggling next wee...
