Re: Wedding Dress
Had this problem last week! Wedding dress brought in for a price for framing, never done one before either. Have ordered various moulding samples for customer but have a feeling the price may well put them off - not something I'll be too upset about as I am not overly confident with the job in the f...

Re: CS89 - leaking air - help please
Yes, it pops out easy enough and it is the upper of the two small hoses that it giving trouble. I have shone a light into the aperture where the hose goes but to no avail, I can't seem to find the issue. Thanks for the input Greys...if anyone else has any thoughts they would be very much appreciated.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance as I am not very technically minded, but how would I do that?

CS89 - leaking air - help please
CS 89 underpinner is leaking air from the area shown in the photos. The two air tubes go into the little metal block which has the button/pin underneath for the pinning process. Been working fine for the 18 months I've had it and suddenly the air is gushing out of here - it halts if I depress the bu...

Re: Too old to frame?
Twenty-eight year old framer here. Been working in the industry for twelve years. My dad (58) has been a joiner for forty years and intends to lend me a hand in framing when he retires. Never too old!

Re: 160 year old Tibetan clothing
Thanks all for your input. I remonstrated with the customer for several minutes, he is absolutely adamant that this is what he wants doing (and that he wouldn't send it back to the Tate). The loss of 4" off the height is not an issue as there is more than that to spare. The lessening of the wid...

Pillowcase
Has anyone got any tips for framing a pillowcase, or photos of ones they have done?
I have one signed by Michael Jackson coming in sometime next month. Apparently he used to throw them out of hotel windows (must have been before he realised you could dangle kids out the window).

Wanted: print display rack
Looking for a poster display rack, ideally one that can be wall mounted and without the usual underneath storage space for rolled posters. Sure you know the sort of thing I mean! Something like the image and big enough to take 36"x24" prints.

Re: tin cans?
I framed beer cans and cigarettes a few years ago with 'break in case of emergency' on the glass. They didn't last long though as the people i was working for at the time seemed to think any friday night was an emergency!
