Do you remember the DE-Roller? This is the piece of kit that de-rolls curled printing paper from the Giclee printer. I was always very sceptical about these and decided to use a piece of 40mm waste pipe and some polypropylene film. Needless to say it didn't work although I am still not sure why not....
