Re: Outdoor market.

Thanks all for your thoughts on the matter. I do think that the protection of pieces awaiting framing or collection would be the main obstacle to overcome. Sadly traders are not allowed to leave their vehicle on site or else i could simply store everything in the back of my van. I think Prospero mak...

Outdoor market.

Hello all I've been running my framing business now since february of this year. I'm based in a permanent indoor market that is open four days a week but is located in a fairly small town and is not all that busy. Recently i have been racking my brains for ways to get more customers and i am hoping ...

Re: build your own TV

I find it interesting how rapidly you get used to the size of screen you're watching things on. My first tv was a 12" in my bedroom when i was about 13 and i thought it was fabulous. The tv i have now was a gift from my father-in-law a couple of years ago and it's a 55" behemoth with 3D an...

Re: Trouble with a pneumatic staple gun

Thanks for the replies. Had used the same model of Clarke one where i used to work and had no issues with it for years and years.

Any links to recommended ones would be great.

Trouble with a pneumatic staple gun

I have a compressor powered staple gun, it's a Clarke model and cost about £40. It's absolutely fine with every size of staple except the smallest - 4mm. Does anyone have any idea why? Or any recommendations for a better one? Thanks

Where to buy prints?

Does anyone have any suggestions for where i could buy some cheapish prints? I'm not looking for anything specific, just looking for future stock for my stall. I have been to the chaps at worfield and although that was a good trip it was an awful long way to go and they only have prints temporarily....

Ladies and gentlemen of the forum, who's your money on in brazil?

I think it will be a surprise if england get out of their group and i fancy germany to win the tournament.

Re: Drum Head

This is my own drum skin that i got at a concert about eight years ago and framed the next day. I still quite like it but you can perhaps tell that i was eighteen at the time and thought that black was the best colour...for everything.

Re: Greetings from Barry @ Dream Keepers Display Products

I have ordered from Dream Keepers in the past when at an old job when a customer wanted to frame a football. The case they supplied was excellent and i would definitely use them again.

Thanks for that Kevlar, that was the method they were asking for and i was planning on using. However after showing them the lion clips they decided to opt for those instead.

Re: Compressor issues - advice please

Thanks for the suggestions, going to do a bit of research before i buy one. Fortunately they don't seem quite as expensive as i feared, provided you don't mind buying some earplugs!

Yes, unfortunately he doesn't service them.

Will try to get a price locally and compare that with buying a new one.
