Re: Pricing Software

Hi There are quite a few out there. On page 192 of the Lion 54 catalogue there is information about a few pricing softwares. Royal framing supports Mac, but I think he has retired and was selling the software at a very fair price. Give him a shout. I myself now use i-framer, it is cloud based so it ...

Re: Mouldings defects/damage

Hi All I have raised my concerns in a previous post, but I am still massively p****d off :head: with the whole moulding quality issue. It seems that most framers accept it and get on with it. Some framers chose to predominately hand finish frames, so they can sand out or fill lumps and bumps before ...

WANTED

Hi All

Just before I start to build some mountboard racking, does anyone have a couple of the Ultimo mountboard storage systems for sale? Is the Ultimo system good, or would you go ahead and build your own?

DIY mountboard example builds would be good to see.

50 Polaroids

Hi All The customer is happy to have 50 Polaroids to stuck down permanently in a multi aperture layout. Would you use something like the colourmount adhesive board to stick them down? Or would you still prefer the hinge method? Also, on a point of quoting would you charge for the mount board and a p...

Re: Paint finished frames

Hi All Thank you so much for such interesting posts. I guess it is all about trial and error and if the finished product looks well to both framer and customer, then you know you are on the right track. Wilko have a large range of test pots in great colours, good enough to cut my teeth on and if it ...

Paint finished frames

Hi All I hear Farrow & Ball mentioned quite a lot when people are talking about painted frame finishes. is it snobbery, quality of finish or just traditional? What are the down sides of whacking on Wickes, Wilko's or Dulux over the Farrow & Ball range? I have had success with emulsions and a...

It's just that the Canvas Hut (a franchise me thinks) is offering this as a roll on for £3.00 as an extra to the printing stretching service?

Ideas for hanging moulding chevrons

Hi All

Without spending on dedicated free standing / turning chevron stands, has anyone got any great ideas for displaying chevrons if room / wall space is at a premium? I have the carpet to hold them.
