I'd go with Alan's suggestion of a sub mount the depth of the mats with an over mount with the apertures slightly smaller than the mats. No adhesive on the mats and fully reversable

Cut the foamcore spacers first, and stick in the frame using a few bits of Double sided tape (to hold until the glue sets) and a few dabs of PVA . Then cut the card spacers and fit the same way to the foamcore spacers, do as two separate operations, don't try and combined them.

If you are doing gold I would give a undercoat of a red, to get a nice rich gold colour

And of course, you can offer every colour mount as a Black Core, so you don't have to stock Black Core at all

Hi John,
It's hard to work out what you are deleting sometimes as you have to do it from the measurements and mounding ref, I sometimes delete the wrong job (happened yesterday). As far as I'm concerned it's the only bug that gets on my nerves, a brill program otherwise.
