Re: Pricing on mounts etc
Hi Jonathan, thanks for the reply. I totally agree, I'm not after that low paying type of work, I just thought it would be a nice little earner for little real work :) But I really don't know the online seller can make it work at those margins. Amazon need their little cut from it too, I understand ...

The importance of spacing
If it were me I'd have chosen a different font or increased the spacing slightly on CLINT When I first seen it I had to do a double take, people may not like his movies but I thought calling him names was a bit harsh.

Pricing on mounts etc
Hi guys We've got a few people around us that produce little prints etc to sell at craft fairs and the like. They buy their mounts, backing and little clear bag online - mostly from Amazon. I'd like to sell to them as it's a fairly straightforward job and there's a reasonable customer base for these...

Re: Moulding ID
Thanks for the reply Mark but I have no intention of recreating that with stacked moldings This particular shop always wants stuff on the cheap too so there's no hope they'd entertain the thought of the cost involved

Moulding ID
Hi There's a local shop I would do a few things for - they've got a job in now and the customer is looking for an exact match to an existing frame they have. It looks to be a polcore moulding. I've attached a few images they've sent. I've checked the Mainline site but nothing seems to match. Can any...

Re: Photo printing
We bought an Epson SureColor P800 a while back and it's worked out pretty well. We're not a 'print house' but we can achieve excellent photo prints which really is what most of our customers want. We can print up to A2 or there's the paper roll option for really wide stuff but that really isn't too ...

Anyone recognise this moulding??
Ignoring the little offwhite slip does anyone know the moulding here? I thought it looked familiar but I can't see it in any of the catalogues I have here. I'm guessing it's plastic though

Re: Help cutting marais
From experience, unless your blades are as sharp as they can possibility be I wouldn't even attempt it & even then it might be a complete disaster. I try to stay away from stuff like that & if that's what they absolutely want it and nothing else will do I'll order it on chop. Joining it will...

Re: Strut backs
Hi guys
Thanks for the replies - Mark, your idea sounds interesting but not really an option for me as I'd need 100's.
I've send an enquiry to the other company - hopefully things will work out from that lead.
Thanks again

Strut backs
received_184686017030052.jpeg Hi guys I'm looking to source some strut backs similar to the attached image. Does anyone have any pointers? :) Actually I've just noticed those frames have that little channel cut out, I don't need the backs to suit a standard frame. Basically, I've got about 100 read...

Re: irritating gap at back of joins
Also, I'd check the vertical fences on your underpinner. Does it only happen when you put the outer wedge in? Are you stacking them?
