Thanks Robbiez for the suggestion but I am going to need somewhere in the region of 30+, so not really feasible.
Will continue my search and if not it'll be plan B

White swept frames
Hi
i'm looking for a supplier of 2" white swept frames other than Arqadia, who are currently out of stock and won't have the sizes in I need until next month. Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Invoicing from Pricing Software AND Accounting Software
Have a look at Solar accounts. Very quick and simple to set up and use. You can update and get help online too! Much easier than quickbooks and Sage, both of which I've used over the years but never got on with. I personally wouldn't use anything else now.

Re: Canvas and TV
No it's a British company down near Cheltenham. They have a system of brackets which fix to the wall, TV and frame and they print the canvas's to your own picture or have ready made images to choose from. I think they have some quite well known stores taking their product - Selfridges seems to come ...

Re: What was your first car, and what was its Reg. plate ?
Mine was a 1974 series 3 landrover with an early syncromesh gear box which was pants. It was nearly as old as I was, so had plenty of miles and owners by the time I got my hands on it. My dad thought it would be a good starter car for me - his thinking being that it wouldn't be a rust bucket as they...

Re: Canvas and TV
I was chatting to a company last year who actually manufacture frames for televisions. Their system comprises of a framed canvas print which can be pulled down over the tv when not in use like a roller blind and so gives the appearance of a framed picture. I've also seen them done with two way mirro...

Re: suppliers
In fairness to Lion (and I am not connected with them in any way other than being a long standing customer), is that they have to absorb the carriage cost somewhere. In their case they do make it transparent by actually making it a seperate cost and not adding it in to the moulding / product price. ...

Re: suppliers
I don't usually get involved in these types of discussions. However, after following the forum and some of it's recent posts where people seem to be increasingly reprimanded for expressing an opinion, I decided that maybe I'd try to put a positive spin on this discussion instead. Surely from a suppl...

Re: Vinyl cutting machines
Hi I use a vinyl cutter too in my business but not for signs. You can buy an entry level one called a graphtech which is a good machine or a Pcut which is an entry level machine. There are quite a few good entry level cutters as someone has suggested for sale on ebay , but you do need to look closel...

Re: Looking for upright feet or holders for box frame
I remember seeing something years ago in an American publication - think it might have been called, Framing collectables, where they'd made an upright certificate freestanding frame. They'd made a small frame which they used as a base in which to fit the certificate frame therefore allowing it to st...

Re: Guild Guild Framers Committee reply to points raised on
I have to say I actually agree with much of what AG is saying, especially regarding the GCF. The policing of standards by the Guild though would be too difficult to implement which is why they could never take away the qualification off any framer who flouts the rules. However surely if the general ...

Re: I'm looking for...
I looked at using a CMC a while ago for producing short run boxes but found two disadvantages. 1: Size. You will be very limited to the size of box which can be produced because of the bed area, even on an XL machine. 2: Waste. The waste you would get on a cmc would make the boxes even more expensiv...

Re: I'm looking for...
Steve regarding your white boxes with carry handles. You are going to need a die cut box for this. A die pattern will cost anything fromapprox £175 upwards initially then you'll have the cost of the boxes to add to this. You'll probably find that a minimum order quantity of about 200 would be requir...
