Grahame
i'm presuming that you can also record at the same time as you're filming the live stream, so you could also upload to the web at a later date for those who can't watch it live?

Re: Streaming Video of Framers Forum Live
Hi Grahame looks like it could be a go'er for you. I've recently been experimenting with videos for my Packaframe box and CanvasPak box (on U-tube) but hoping i'll be able to link them into the website when I get a minute! (so I know that you'll need to experiment and have a few dummy runs just to m...

Re: Streaming Video of Framers Forum Live
Yep that's the stuff Grahame. Knew you'd catch on sooner or later
You might be better downloading a video afterwards though rather than trying to do a live stream. That way you can edit if you need to.

Framing Seminar Videos?
I wondered if anybody had thought of doing online videos of the seminars as seen as the Framers forum live event is coming up soon. Unfortunately due to health reasons I have been unable to attend the Spring Fair for a couple of years and will also miss out on the Framers Forum event too. I'm sure t...

Re: Couriers and packaging - Solution?
You'd probably find that by using one of our bespoke boxes www.packaframe.co.uk (which has been specifically designed for this type of job) and getting a good deal with a local courier, you'd probably be able to send your frames just as cheap or even cheaper than what you've been quoted. I see you'r...

Copyright & CMC mount designs
I've just been looking at some of the latest mounts created by Gunnar owners on the Gunnar website, which has got me thinking....... ...If producing mounts on any cmc with images of celebrities and logo's surely wouldn't they be subject to either copyright or licensing. Has anybody heard of any prob...

Re: Changing times - Since 1992
When I started in 1990, there seemed to be a lot more framers with Jaguars and other flashy cars. Maybe there was more profit then. :giggle: Seriously though. The materials and techniques have come on in leaps and bounds apart from the mouldings which in some cases seem to be getting worse and with ...

Re: Adjustable magnetic underpinner clamp pad from Lion
I've had one of these for at least 8 years if not more and the original felt pad is still going strong. As Welsh framers says though it is worth protecting the felt, but if you do manage to get a bit of dried glue on it i've found a light sand down with a bit of abrasive paper usually does the trick.

Re: Fletcher 2100
Did you get the two aluminium squaring fixtures with your machine and the handbook? It's just that sometimes the machine can get out of true which may be causing your problem and these will help to square the sliding guide where Fletcher 2100 is written on it by making a few adjustments. Details are...

Re: Wanted - Jumbo CMC + boxmaker
Hi James I have been reading the posts about purchasing a large format cmc / box maker. Unless you have a huge demand/turnover of boxes I feel you would not really be gaining anything and it would more than likely work out more expensive to produce them than you think. Raw materials ie. cardboard ha...
