Thanks for you replys. So guess it's a case of buying a large size and folding/taping the excess back. I didn't realise how expensive the sealing machines are.

Other than cutting a sheet from a roll and taping the back etc, it there a easy and cheap way of making neat envelopes for mounted work to sell?

removable medal attachments
the customer wants to be able to remove these every now and then, I am making a slider frame to house these with a few other items. Any suggestions on what will actually hold the the medals to the back mount?

keep us posted Peter sounds interesting.I had a guy in yesterday who is set on getting some stuff framed using oak from a beam in his (old) house.
he is getting someone to slice it up into 60mm sq bits. Sounds like a cool idea

thanks David might give them a go. Main issue is how bent it is (several directions!), spoke with a joiner, who provided his own oak moulding for me to use on his piece, said about the various grades available, I think that has a lot to do with quality as well as it being a natural product.
