Re: recognise this moulding?
It's a one piece moulding, if I remember it was made of plastic, was regularly used for hotel jobs.... Don't think it's Mainline though....

Re: Photo framing - help!!!
... called inset mouldings basically you print, laminate and mount on 5mm foamcore or mdf and glue it into the frame you make i often use polcore from mainline for this too as its very cheap and looks great you idealy need to be using a cold laminator to do the mounting, less issues with edges getting ...

Re: Framers Forum Live Event : An Announcement
... they have to be ready to defend them selves against, but it does not have to be that way, Steve from wessex, Sam from framers corner, bazza from mainline, Sarah from gunnar and john from Valiani demonstrate this perfectly. I think suppliers should see this forum as a opportunity, and advertise ...

Re: Wonga dot com
Are you seeing it in the advertising on FF? In the banner adds below posts? that is when I mainly see ads for Mainline or Amazon. I don't recall seeing Wonga.com. I think John would be in control of the advertising and able to take or refuse whatever companies he wanted to? Perhaps ...

Re: Using suppliers' images
I asked Mainline and they said yes including the 3d spins. I think if you are a customer and ask permission then most companies would be OK, it promotes sales for them as well as you.

Using suppliers' images
Does anyone know if it's okay to use moulding and mountboard images from suppliers on my own website?
It will obviously be to give customers an idea of the type of frames available.
What about the 3D spins from Mainline (Ricky?)
Cheers

Deep rebate moulding
I have a customer that wants to use a deep rebate moulding (Mainline 301-0028). I am assuming that I will be able to cut it on the Morso in a similar way I would a deep canvas 'L' profile? But upside down in this case? I don't have the deep rebate supports ...

Re: Trying to match a moulding
Just had a quick flip through Arqadia, Simons, Mainline and A&T and can't see anything that matches. There are some similar ones on p128 of the Arqadia catalogue you could look at online and Simons appear to offer pretty much the same ones. ...

Re: Morso Blade Change
... :P It depends a lot on the moulding you are cutting. Some of the far-eastern heavily compo'd types will take the edge of very rapidly. I've use Mainline for the last few sharpens. Apparently they have the only proper Morso grinding machine in the country. They also do a pickup/delivery service ...
