Good idea Ormond but now where can I find some more floor space? Perhaps if I hang the Morso on the wall and put the customers on the bench? Well maybe not. Some of us don't have room in our broom cupboards and my workshop is in the corner of the broom cupboard .... The other option is to hang hinge...

Hi Ormond, You certainly have a very interesting Seminar programme and tempting though it is I can't afford the bus fare ...... this year! Can anyone say why there is not a similar event in the UK or Ireland for framers? Is it just lack of interest or is it because we are happy to continue with the ...

A very valid point made about the Spring Fair and I believe it would be popular. Many of the Exhibitions/Trade Fairs I have attended have learning events and seminars. They are always fully booked and well attended. Perhaps Lion might consider doing a Spring Fair version.

Hi Dermot and Lemon-Drop, Good news, I think someone must have dropped a hint because Glenwood rang me today. The catalogue is not ready yet so they will be paying me a visit in the near future with some samples. They were very apologetic at not having responded. I'll let you know how we get on.... :D

Hi Lemon_Drop, Thanks for the endorsement, it seems that they may well be worth investigating using the AGB system (Alexander Graham Bell). You make a good point about the automated email system, although most companies would tell you not to reply to these emails if that was the case. Has anyone in ...

Welcome and Fáilte as well

Hi Hoops, Welcome to the Forum. I haven't been a member long myself but just going through the previous posts will give you a tremendous insight into what we all do and quite possibly a better way to do it. I have certainly learnt something each time I log on and that's even before I posted any ques...

Fletcher/Valiani CMC

Thanks Mark, being new to CMCs, did you guess? I wasn't aware of that. I will obviously have to do more research a bit like this. Do you have any experience with it, or have you heard anyone praising it?

Fletcher now has new CMC Mat-Pro i-series

I see from the other Framers Forum that our US cousins are talking about the fact the Fletcher now has a new CMC Mat-Pro i-series. It is apparently better and more cost effective than Wizard and presumably Gunnar. The point that interested me particularly was that after five years of leasing the mac...
