Just put two hooks in the wall, about 3/4 the width of the frame, then hang the cord over both, this will pull the top in and the picture will not move at all

Before you commit to the layout, mark out on the floor, where all the benches machines are going to be, do it full size, then walk around with a 3ft x 4ft sheet of mdf or whatever you use for backing, and see if you can negotiate the workshop safely, don't forget not to bend the backingboard, as you...

Well done in knowing when to say no, it's no good putting yours through it , if you know you are going to have problems, also if you are worried about anything, as in this case that the way the artwork is going to be presented to you.
