Re: Rolled up photographic print

It would be very simple to drymount it but this would devalue the art work, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think my opinion would be appropriate on this occasion :giggle:

Re: Sticking down an Ordnance Survey map 100x89cm

Thanks David,

That's the chap & a fantastic job he did too - not only bringing it to the attention of framers - but working with the OS to get details put in with the maps - he deserves some kind of award in my opinion

Re: Sticking down an Ordnance Survey map 100x89cm

Hi Adam, I am sorry for the late jump in on this one. First & very importantly - OS - as stated somewhere above - have recently changed their printing processes & their maps are no longer suitable for heat pressing. This was discovered by a framer (sorry if you are a forum member - but I can...

Re: HOTPRESS HELL !!

I had a similar mishap a couple of days back. Being a bit mean I have been saving up some offcuts of dry mount tissue to use on smaller jobs. So I had a 14 x 11 photo to stick down and there was a piece of tissue just the right size with a few little wrinkles but I thought no problem they will flat...
