Re: Updating Estlite
Could it be that an over-aggressive anti-virus application is preventing EstLite from installing? Not sure if it would make any difference but you could try running the installer (EstSetup.exe) as administrator. You can download estsetup.exe from https://estlite.com/download.php Never heard of ESTsoft

Re: Updating Estlite
Are you opening EstLite from a shortcut on the desktop?
If so right-click on the EstLite icon and select Properties from the pop-up list
In the Properties window What are the contents of the Target: and Start in: boxes?
Also, is there more than one EstLite icon on the desktop?

Re: Updating Estlite
Hi Justin, This entry in the help file was added years ago when a user, with Windows95 I think, was having a problem with the Update feature and it turned out that the missing dll file was the cause. This is unlikely to be an issue on a modern (ish) PC, however if you are unable to update, and you h...

Picture Framing Item - RTE Radio 1
Ireland's National Broadcaster, RTE Radio 1 aired a picture framing item on The Business this morning. Available on catch-up Here (The last 10 minutes is the bit that's relevant to us) I don't know if RTE geographically blocks their Catch-Up app, so you may not be able to get this depending on your ...

This was my setup in our last shop. I still have the U shaped brackets which are now lying around gathering dust.

I thought it was just me. I see well educated, articulate folk who will begin even their opening remarks with "So", it appears to be quite accepted now, like the way, maybe 35 or so years ago, everybody decided that henceforth data will be pronounced day-tah, and nobody informed me. :) The...

Moulding ID Please
We stocked this moulding a few years ago, and now a customer has returned seeking a match. I think the source was Ashworth & Thompson, however I don't see it on their current website so either I have overlooked it, it has been discontinued, or it is from another supplier. Moulding width: 20mm ap...

Re: exporting mailing list
Hi Justin,
From the main EstLite screen: Click Options>Data>Export
This will create the file EstNad.dbf in the Documents\Customers folder (The \Customers\ folder will be created if not already on your computer)
Open EstNad.dbf in Excel or in any free alternative.

Re: Discontinued moulding on ESTLITE
If you are intending to price a job with a discontinued moulding, EstLite assumes that you have that moulding in stock. As long as your discontinued moulding is in stock there is no need to be notified as you will be able to complete the job. If you are maintaining quantities in your list of stocked...

Re: EstLite Sales or Tutorial Videos
While there is a video or two for Pre-View, the visualisation application, I've always thought that they were unnecessary for EstLite, I suppose because I think it is so straightforward and uncomplicated in everyday use.
However I have recently begun to reconsider the idea.
