Re: Stuck wedge cassette

Thanks NYAF I ended up going for a sleep to try and shake off a stonking headache. I will clean and grease, put back together and take it from there. When I said "I've no idea what I'm doing..." I meant, because I don't know what's causing the problem, I've no idea how to start to fix it. ...

Re: Stuck wedge cassette

Thank you Mark has already helped me with the spring.... I'll get in touch with him Monday. Just thought I'd post here in the meantime in case someone had had the same issue. Eventually got the cassette out by breaking it into pieces.... now have the wedge distributer block out and cleaning it.... o...

Stuck wedge cassette

Hi Gals and Guys, Feeling frustrated..... Need a bit of help with my Cassesse 299M Ultra underpinner if you don't mind…. tried a search to no avail! I replaced the spring for the wedge cassette recently, and ever since some of the wedge cassettes were, (only some of the time) getting stuck, but with...

Re: Bespoke Stretcher Bars

Thank you for your replies.... I ended up getting from The Strand Gallery without any extortionate carriage costs. I rarely need bespoke bars so wouldn't consider making my own. :)

Bespoke Stretcher Bars

Hi Everyone! Where do you all get your bespoke bars from? I've always used Wunderbar, but went to place an order and cannot find their website. Error 404 Not Found. Can anyone shed some light on this, or suggest an alternative please, but not Harris Moore as they have a very high carriage charge for...

Migrate Estlite Failure

Hi, Just tried to migrate Estlite to new laptop following John's instructions on here. I backed on to USB stick, opened Estlite on new Laptop, downloaded and ran, and have now managed to have an unregistered copy as there was nowhere I could see asking if I wanted to restore data. Could someone tell...

Re: moulding search

Yeah, I have a couple pieces, just short of £200 worth from 2015. After numerous attempts at getting her to pick them up, I moved them out of my workshop, and in to my "Bothy" for storage. This was a "friend" of a friend. He felt really bad as it was he who recommended me. But he...

Re: moulding search

Well p****d off!! Pulled out all the stops to get said moulding here this week, setting up a new account, driving several miles to the bank, not to mention my time searching and on the phone (and your time, those who replied  ) Phoned her just now to tell her it would arrive Wednesday, and I'd ...

Re: Moulding search

Funnily enough I've had some lying about for around 20 years! Only recently I decided to use it up by painting it to make a mirror for my bathroom. Daughter in law immediately said she wanted it..... I said "over my dead body" which is probably when she'll get it!! fullsizeoutput_26...

Re: moulding search

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply.... she did just think they'd somehow manage to "whip up" a couple lengths, just for her. I've yet to find out whether it is A&T that have disco'd it (which I suspect) or the manufacturer.... will talk to Rep when he's back from holiday. I appreciate that...

Re: Big OS map

Just as an aside re OS maps.... they've changed the inks they use to achieve finer detail. In the past I've successfully mounted the "old ink" maps using the PMA adhesive roll from Lion onto fc board. Tried it on one of the new maps a few months ago, and whilst it went on fine, and appeare...
