Set the stop for 750mm, cut a scrap piece measure the length and double it. Mark the moulding with a piece of tape on the back (non rebate) edge and align this with the lower blade. Make the cut, offer up the new length back to back with the remaining moulding and make another mark with tape.

I had with this problem when gloss laminating a print onto dibond. Adding a sheet of foamcore between the upper blanket and the print maintains the gloss finish and silvering is not evident. Dibond is flat but of course non porus. Drymounting a picture is not a problem as the sponge blanket can go over the top to provide a porus layer. The big problem arises when using a gloss laminate. Always happy to make someone laugh but I had to do something similar in the gallery. I did not have the luxury of an 18' wall so I cut a hole in the wall to the office.

The morso can be a bit of a space hog but you may be able to cut a hole in the garage wall and attach a long wooden box to the outside. This will take the left hand part of the moulding and save a couple of meters. It will need to be insulated to prevent condensation in winter.
