Interesting idea.
If I had a shop I would be happy to carry these as a ready made option and I think they would be popular, mainly for kids' rooms etc.

Re: Medals
Respekt!
Are they (the medals themselves) fixed down in any way?
There is nothing holding the medals or ribbons in place other than the piece of mount board between the two small apertures, and then some tape at the top and around the back.

Wasn't sure how an oil-free compressor worked so I got this off t'net.

Re: Brass Plaque Suppliers
I reckon that wording would be about £20 from the local key cutting place.
I'd probably be a bit wary of getting one online as the plaque could be really cheap and nasty and look like it.

Re: Oak Shingle
David, that is a great item, and I love the frame especially.
I'm not sure why there's a mount around the oak though, and chance you can talk me through it.
If I have a window mount on an object, it's usually to hide spacers, but here it seems purely decorative, perhaps to allow the window ...

The topic of insurance pops up now and again and I've read most of them.
I think NFU seems to be great as long as they get what it is you do. The problem seems to come when it can't be easily categorised.

I don't use them yet although depending on the price I could be interested. Local photographers all go online because I can't compete with price using a manual cutter.

I use this bad boy right here.
Perfect results every time on this and I haven't changed the blade yet in a few months.
I used to use a stanley blade and it kept catching. Then I tried my mountcutter but I could only get half a cut. Perfect results every time on this and I haven't changed the blade yet in a few months.

I needed a couple of batons to sit my shower pump on but I didn't have any.
This saved me a run to the hardware store.

I found a use for my box of chippings. Usually I burn them but as the weather has been so nice I decided to tart up the garden a bit.

Moulding needed
I'm needing a deep unfinished moulding, width 20-30mm with a rebate depth of at least 46mm as I need clearance of 40mm.
This one from Arqadia :132400000 is ideal, but won't be in for around 3 weeks.
Any ideas?

Thanks prospero.
These are just for box frames I'm going to supply to a customer so not at the pneumatic stage just yet.
The wood is soft and the clips should only be opened and closed once.
