Here’s the finished painting and frame. This is frame number 31 for me and is beginning to get closer to the frames I see in my mind’s eye. Onwards and upwards!!

That's one of the reasons there's so much waste, Mark. I had also glued two moulding lengths together before trying to cut it. It's just a painting of a lady with tattoos, nothing else. Tattooing is what I do for a job so it sometimes spills over into what I paint.

Very nicely done! Weirdly, I know where those boats are.They're the much photographed old fishing boats at Salen on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Took almost the same photo myself a few years ago.
