The Guild's Art & Framing Industry Awards take place over the weekend of 12-13 May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford Upon Avon. They are a chance to meet and chat with others from our industry and are open to members and non-members.
Voting is now open here: http://www.fineart.co.uk/vote-for-the-winners.aspx This is a chance for you to vote in a variety of categories including the Customer Service Award and the new category this year of the Small Business Customer Service Award.
You can also book here: http://www.fineart.co.uk/events/art-fra ... 18-29.aspx to come along to the seminar on "Condition Reports: A Conservation Requirement" given by Mal Reynolds GCF(APF) Adv. This will be followed by a Q&A Session with members of the Framers Committee. Also on in the afternoon is the Guild Artists Exhibition which is the showcase for the artist members of the Guild. The evening rounds off with the dinner and awards followed usually by chat late into the night in the lovely bar area overlooking the river - there is no specific dress code; you can glam it up or not, whatever is comfortable for you.
For members of the Guild the AGM takes place the following morning at 10am.
